The GIS Committee Meeting was held on 14 June 2013 at National Geographic Department (NGD) Ministry of Home Affairs, chaired by Mr. Bouasoth SOUVANNAKOUMANE Director General of NGD, he’s also the chair of GIS committee. There are 30 participants from 10 ministry. The meeting reviewed the plan and the implementing progress from the last meeting and also discussed about the toponomy, Metadata and some matters that raised by participants.

The next GIS meeting will be held in September this year to discuss further more on these matters.
