Welcoming Surveyors and Mapping Delegates, Malaysia

The visiting and meeting up for discussion between The National Geographic Department and Malaysian Delegates  representing the Geomatic and Land Surveying Division (GLS), Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) as well as the Association of Authorised Land Surveyors Malaysia (PEJUTA). The personnel from RISM come from government agencies, universities, and authorized land surveyors on 1st March 201 at 9:30 AM.

Malaysian delegates were led by Sr Hasan Jamil, Chairman of Geomatic and Land Surveying Division, Royal Institution of Surveyor Malaysia. The delegates comprise of 19 staff members representing the Geomatic and Land Surveying Division (GLS), Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) as well as the Association of Authorised Land Surveyors Malaysia (PEJUTA). The personnel from RISM come from government agencies, universities and authorized land surveyors. This visit is considered as the annual event that Malaysian delegates plan every year where they visit their counterparts mostly around the Asian region as well as ASEAN members.

The main purpose of this technical visit is to get to know each other, foster cooperation and exchange views with regards to the profession. It is also hoped that this relationship can be extended further in future through various programs that both sides can plan and discuss together.
